2010 Ghost Wings Challenge Finals Champions

The King of the Wing!

What a remarkable feat!! Chris Graber had his first taste of Ghost Wings just a couple days before he went on to devour an astounding 38 GHOST WINGS to become the 2010 GWC Finals Champion and all-time record holder by nine whole wings!! Chris is truly a prodigy of firey wing eating! Look out world!

The King of the Wing!

Chris Higgins landed himself in second place with a wing count of 21. It was a dog fight for second place in the winners circle, and he narrowly defeated Mitch West by a count of four wings. Way to go Chris! You are the Kobayashi to Chris Graber's Joey Chestnut! Keep training and come back strong next year!

Rounding out the contestants who placed in the 2010 GWC Finals is Mitch West, who finished the fight with a respectable 17 wings consumed. Make no mistake, Ghost Wing fans-- a single wing is enough to yield most men and anything over 10 is the real estate of true gustatory gladiators! We have a feeling we haven't heard the last of Mitch!

The King of the Wing!

Hail to the Champion! James was the winner having eaten a total of 29 wings. It was pretty amazing! James plowed through the wings at a steady pace. The sweat and nose run off was minimal but still there. Thanks for a great job and for making this event a huge success.

Congratulations to Andrew Hope who came in second place after eating 28 wings. What can you say about this Scottish Bloke? He made many of the big guys look like lightweights! Andrew mentioned he would not lose again! He said the heat actually made his hands feel like they were burned. Wow, that's an incredible pepper. Thanks Andrew and see you again soon.

Gustavo finished third but he looked like he was going to blow everyone out of the water at the start. He was on his second plate before most had even finished three or four wings. But the heat and quantity caught up with him rather quickly at about 6 minutes into the contest. Still most of the others were slowing down, too. So he had built up enough of a pile of bones to give him a solid third place finish. Thanks, it was fun to watch your "machismo" on display.
